We were digging through our random archives again the other day, and came across this gem of the recently departed former governor Mario Cuomo delivering what appears to be an important speech in Albany during his tenure. We would be willing to bet that it was one of his annual State of the State addresses before the State Legislature.

And while we instantly recognized Cuomo, we don't have an inkling as to the identities of the six men surrounding him. If it was a State of the State address, we have to imagine these were the most powerful men in Albany – after the governor, of course – in Albany at the time.

And it that is the case, we are sure there are some political-savvy New Yorkers out there who will recognize them instantly and help us do a little research into their history and political career.

And with the latest news this week that yet another Albany power broker, this time State Senator Dean Skelos, has been indicted for using his office to funnel money to his allegedly unemployable son in exchange for political favors, we're sure that whatever digging we end up doing will not only uncover some heretofore forgotten political careers, but a number of transgression as well!

If you think you can identify the men with Cuomo in the photo, get in touch with us at
