A $100 deposit, partially completed roster, coach information, team name or sponsor, and any scheduling conflicts are due by April 19. If a player has participated in the league before and a birth certificate was submitted, it does not need to be submitted again.
Final roster (maximum of 14 players) and fee of $500 (10 and 12 & under) or $600 (14 and 17 & under) is due by May 4. Cost include fees for two referees. Checks should be made out to Heroes.

The fee for an individual player is $75 in all divisions. There are typically teams that need players, but placement is not guaranteed. The fee will be returned if your child is not placed on a team.
Games are played Mondays through Thursdays at 5:45 and 6:45 p.m. starting early May, with playoffs beginning in mid-June. Each team is guaranteed 10 games including playoffs.
The championship games are at an indoor gym the Tuesday or Wednesday before the July 4th weekend.
Games are primarily played at Crowley Park in Elmhurst and Frontera Park in Maspeth.
Some games may be played at Reiff Park or Maurice Park in Maspeth, Dry Harbor Park in Glendale, Juniper Valley Park in Middle Village, or Bush Park in Woodside.
Games are never played on weekends and only on Fridays if rain necessitates extending the season.
There are boy and girls divisions for ages 10 & under, 12 & under, 14 & under, and 17 & under.
The league works around team schedules. The first two weeks of the season are scheduled, then games are scheduled two weeks at a time until the playoffs.
The league is generally able to accommodate 95 percent of potential conflicts indicated by April 19.

Founded in 1990, the league offers good, fair competition with quality officiating. Many of its alumni include Division 1 college players.
It is sponsored by Arby’s of Middle Village, Maspeth Federal Savings, Msgr. McClancy High School and Martin Luther School.
