The 112th Precinct teamed up with Forest Hills Times to award three local school children grades 6 through 12 for their submissions in the Worlds Fair Essay Contest this week.

Students wrote their one-page essay about their life in Queens and how it can raise awareness on respect and understanding for their peers.

The $100 first prize went to Kew Forest School 8th grader Celia D Amato; while JHS 190 8th grader Zorana Dagasevic took home a $75 second prize and Kew Forest School 7th grader Olivia Ross took home $50 for 3rd place.
