The 35th Annual Thunderbird American Indian Mid-Summer Pow-Wow was held at the Queens County Farm Museum in Floral Park this past weekend. Over 40 Indian nations participated in the three-day event that featured traditional chanting, drumming and costumes. In addition to the performances and competitions, vendors offered American Indian crafts and foods, such as fry bread and Navajo tacos.
